Why I Bullet Journal

2019, 2020, & Blog Journal

I have briefly mentioned once or twice that I have a little obsession with my Bullet Journal. I track everything, which helps me stay organized and keep my shit together. Most days. It helps me feel like I’m in control of things. Even when I’m not.

I started my BuJo Journey back in April of 2019. I was sick of the same thing every day in my planner, I wanted some variety. Why? Because I get bored really quick, and just using stickers to change every layout was not doing it for me. So I decided to do a crap ton of research and spend a couple 100 dollars on everything I thought I might need to get myself started.

I have to be honest here, I went through about 4 journals before landing on the one I currently use. I’ve got a little secret for you: it was not even expensive. I use the Exceed Dotted Classic Notebook, which I purchased at Walmart for about $10, I think. And I purchased my blog journal at Michaels, for about $5 when it was on sale a month ago. That’s where I keep track of my blog ideas, posts, and stats. I wasn’t kidding when I said I track everything. I gives me the feeling that I have even just a little bit of my life organized.

I have a literal crap ton of stickers, markers, pens, and more washi tape than anyone needs. I have a hard time resisting the urge to buy more. But, I’m seriously running out of space. I use almost all of my pens and markers, so that’s a bonus. I also only bought one pack of stickers and two packs of washi tape in February. I’m pretty sure my fiancé is sick of all my supplies. But, it makes me happy. So there.

I’m going to bed now, but I’ll post my March spreads this week so you can see what it’s all about. Stay tuned. Much love.
