Book Review: Whiskey In A Teacup

This was one of those I’m bored on a Saturday, I adore Reese Witherspoon, let me listen to her read her own book kind of things. I love audiobooks. You good know this about me. Sometimes I swap back and fourth between a book and the audiobook. However, sometimes I just listen to the book while I do other things. It’s glorious.

A couple of weekends ago, I spent an amazing Saturday with Reese. I did my projects and housework, while she read me her book. The audiobook came with a PDF of the pictures, recipes, and other things included in her book.

I learned how to hot roller my hair. I’m not sure when that will come in handy, but maybe some day it will. Reese shares tips for hosting dinner parties, attending dinner parties, and lots of good old fashioned southern etiquette. I also can’t wait to try some of the recipes she shared in this book.

After reading, this book had me wanting to host dinner parties and decorate my house. I also had the urge to pack up everything and move to the south. It sounds like a joyful place.

I’m glad I took the time to read this gem. The lessons will stick with me for awhile. Thank you Reese Witherspoon for being someone I aspire to be.
