Hello again my lovelies! Everyone knows I’m obsessed with bullet journaling. I have shared my monthly and weekly spreads, my habit trackers, mood trackers and everything else. I’ve even shared the supplies that I use each month on each post. What I have not done yet, is break down for you my Top 10 must haves when it comes to Bullet Journal supplies. So let’s dive right in.
Ten: Washi Tape. I don’t use it as often as I used to, but it’s handy. I keep buying more just to have it, so clearly it’s essential.
Nine: UniBall Signo DX 0.38. These fine point gel pens are great for tight spaces. They write smoothly and are comfortable to hold. I don’t use them too often, but definitely love them.
Eight: Zebra Midliners. Oh how I love thee. I literally use these bad boys all the time. For highlighting, outlining, titles and more. They are fantastic. I did notice early on though that you need to use the highlighter first and then write over it in black. I’m okay with it. But if that would frustrate you, these are not for you.
Seven: Pilot Frixion Colors Erasable Markers. These little guys are amazing. I use them on all of my monthly trackers. I use them in other places too, but I love that I can erase a mistake and you can barely notice.
Six: Papermate Ink Joy Gel Pens. I have to be honest, these pens are new to this list. I’ve only had them for a little while, but I almost exclusively now use them for all of my journaling needs. They dry fast, and come in lots of fun colors.
Five: Bic White-Out tape. A must have. Since I make mistakes all the time, these bad boys are handy to have laying around. Because the paper in my journal is white, you can’t tell unless your looking for it.
Four: Staedtler Mars Plastic Eraser. This eraser. OMG. It’s my hero. I buy them in packs of four. I draw and write all my lines and titles in pencil first. When I use this eraser, it doesn’t smudge my lines. That’s due to two things: the quality of the pens and the quality of the eraser.
Three: Pigma Micron. These pens. They were an amazing investment. Well worth the price. They don’t smudge. They dry fast. The lines they create are flawless. Except when I don’t draw them straight. I use them for all of my lines and most of my titles.
Two: STICKERS! Come on, you all knew it was coming. I don’t draw very well, so stickers of all sorts come in handy. I’m always on the look out for more.
Disclaimer: This is all the stickers I currently own at the moment. I’m sure I’ll have more by the end of the week. Since I totally ordered a bunch of Harry Potter themed stickers from ETSY and Pipsticks is on its way.
One: My Archer & Olive B5 Dotted Journal. This journal is essential. I’m in love with it. Honestly, I used an inexpensive A5 size for a long time, and I’m not sure I can ever go back to that smaller size. Archer & Olive pages are thick, 160 GSM. I have very little ghosting, which is amazing. It keeps my spreads clean. The covers are hard, sturdy and have cute designs. I also use an A5 from Archer & Olive for my self care journal. The smaller size is perfect for that.
So there you have it friends. My top 10 must haves for bullet journaling. I’d love to hear from you about what your must haves are. Send me a note or comment to share.
Happy bullet journaling!
